Art for the “Hybrid Greening” exhibition invites immersion into the ‘experience’ of nature and seeks interaction and a response to each new place.The fibre art "forests" are built from marine debris, handmade and artificial leaf and plant forms and embedded amongst natural objects to create a hybrid ecology that you can sense and experience. Hybrid Texture explores a new created hybrid topography. “Entanglement” expresses the spirit of a forest.

 

These works are touring Queensland regional galleries until May 2024.
